The Result of our Sacrifices during our PlayFest..

During our playfest, both in Caf and Cae was good for me. I felt happy and proud of my self and with my classmates who shared our talents in front of many people despite that we are shy while acting in front of the audiences. Even though we didn't win in both of our Caf and Cae play, we still did our best to make our play a wonderful and a presentable one. And also, even though we weren't able to bring the bacon but still deep inside our hearts we are still the champion. I just thank God for the blessings he had given us during our Final Play.

Manny wins again!!!

Manny Pacquiao once again proved to the whole world that Filipinos are brave enough in whatever challenge that comes in their life. Manny, is our one good example that we should not give up in times that other people would tend to bully us. We should have faith in our selves in order to survive in difficulties that are facing us in our daily life. So, that's why we should be brave enough in all problems that we are encountering, and that we should be thanking God that he let manny win the game.

Is it a dream??

Well, last year I wasn't able to act during our Caf and Cae Play Festival because I'm a shy person. But now, In Cae I have three roles! as in 3!!.. While in Caf, I'm the "kawal" of Menandro and for me it was an achievement! Like, I was able to act in my 2nd year life in High School. And I was able to get rid of my shyness because of my friends and best friends who are encouraging me to be a matured lady and as I said, to really get rid of my shyness. Well, I really thank them for that excellent deed they had shown me.

All Souls Day..

Last November 1, we had a short moment with our loved ones at the cemetery because it rained very very hard and so, we've decided to go home because of the bad weather. My family and I were wet well, not only us but everybody who were also visiting their loved ones at the cemetery. All of us were wet even though we had a large umbrella. Our foot was caught by the flowing water. So, that's why we have decided to go home.

Day of Prayer..

This morning, we had our Day of Prayer together with our class advisers and our school principal, Sr. Nilda. Actually, it is not Sr. Nilda who will be taking care of us in our Day of Prayer but it would be Sir Secular, too bad that Sir Secular got ill because of Chicken Pox, So he cannot attend and would be with us during our recollection. During our Recollection, Sr. Nilda talked to us about RELATIONSHIP. She discussed many kind of Relationships namely, Relationship with GOD, FAMILY, OTHERS, & YOURSELF. At the afternoon, all second year were separated into different parts or rooms of the Cenacle. The St. Elizabeth were near at the refectory of the Cenacle. There, we shared our thoughts, ideas, and experiences about the word RELATIONSHIP. Some of our classmates cried and even I also cried. Before I forget, in the morning Sr. Nilda showed to us a movie entitled "I am Sam". It was really really good and awesome. It made me and my schoolmates cried a lot!. Now, back at the afternoon, after our sharing, we went back again at the MDFT to finish our recollection. There, Mr. Guintivano, asks us to get a two pieces of pad paper to write on our sorrows and our blessing in life. And after doing that task, we were ask to put in a black box the paper which there we wrote our sorrows in life. While the paper which has the blessing that was written by us were ask to keep it by our own.

Goodbye Hospital, Hello House!

Last September 20, 2010 in the morning my mom cooked me a shrimp for breakfast. Well, my mom,dad, and I didn't knew that I have allergy in shrimp. When I arrived at school, I ask my mom if she brought with her my medicine ("as if I have") in skin allergy. Then my mom told me that she weren't able to bring and I ask her if what's the name because I will just ask the school nurse if they have that medicine, but my mom already forgot the name of the medicine because I was still small when I have allergy. So, I said "okay" 'coz I think it will not cause me a lot to have allergies or rush in my skin. When it is already our music class at the gradeschool music room, then I cannot really control the itchiness that I felt. So after recess, I decided to go to the clinic. After I arrived there, the school nurses immediately told me to go home and to be checked at the doctor. So, they called up my parents at their office to fetch me up. And after a few minutes my father arrived and fetched me up at the clinic. When it's around quarter to 12:00 noon we ate our lunch at the canteen of the office of my parents. When I was waiting at for the order of my mom and my dad, I suddenly felt something strange in my breathing that I cannot breath immediately and like I'm having difficulty with my breathing. So, after eating about 3 spoons of rice and our viant, I started to complain to my mom and my dad. So we Immediately went to St. Pauls Hospital to be checked by the doctor. We went to the OPD section and after interviewing me and consulting me, the residence of that hospital suddenly told my mom and my dad that I need to be admitted as soon as possibe. Then, the nurse brought me to the ER section, and when I arrived there the nurses and the other residence are in a hurry putting me an Oxygen,a dextrose and other apparatuses. And after a few hours I was calm. The other doctor talked to my parents that they were panicking a while ago with my condition because they said that I was showing the real symptoms of an allergy. And he said that good that my parents immediately brought me there immediately because if not my breathing would be close. So, I was confined for two days(one day and one night). I went out at the hospital yesterday evening.

Desiderata..

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others even to the dull and the ignorant, the too have their story. Avoid loud and agressive persons they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always their will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans, keep interested in your own career however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your bussines affairs for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is. Many persons strive for high ideals and everywhere, life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection, Neither be cynical about love for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginnings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe in unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace eith God whatever you conceive him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be Happy.

Stuck in the moment..

Well..My classmate and I have nothing to do now, so I just told her that we will go to the library to do our assignment so, after doing our assignment we still do not know what will we do. We decided to do our blogs in our subject called Journalism.
Our purpose to go here in the library is to make our script in CAF for the Play Presentation. But, we weren't able to do it because we do not have Laptop. So, Celine, our classmate said that she will finish the script in her house. Well, this is for now, I still need to go home and do the rest of my assignments especially in Biology and in Social Studies.

The 13th Day

Yesterday, we went to SM City Cinema 2 to watch the movie entitled: The 13th Day. This film is a true story that happened in Fatima, Portugal. Our Lady appeared to the three children whose names were: Lucia who became a nun, Jacinta whose the younger sister of Francisco. Jacinta and Franciso died in an early age. While Lucia became a nun of the Carmelite. This movie made myself deepen my faith in God more. This movie also asks me to pray the rosary everyday so that we can be with God all the time and that he can guide and protect us.

Before we entered in cinema 2 to watch the movie, we were given a simple token as a remembrance and as a token that we should pray this prayer everyday and it says that:
THE FATIMA PRAYER
"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls into heaven, especially those who have most need of thy mercy."
"O my God, i believe. I adore. I hope and i love thee. I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee."

"Most Holy Trinity-Father,Son and Holy Spirit-I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee most precious Body,Blood,Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacriliges and indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners."
"O Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." (To be said when offering up personal sacrifices, sufferings, etc.)



So, we should pray the Rosary daily.

ST. THERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS

Last October 1, we celebrated the feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and we have a mass.
On September 30, 1897, a 24-year-old nun lay dying in the Carmelite Convent in Lisieux, France. She had done so little in her life that one of sisters remarked that while she was charming, what would Mother Superior write about her at her death in the report she would make for the community?
The question is amusing to us now. For the fame of this young nun would spread beyond the Convent and throughout the Church with remarkable speed. One year after her death, her autobiography, The Story of a Soul, was published. Her devotees multiplied as miracles were worked and favors granted through her intercession. During World War I French pilots carried a photo of her in their aircrafts to protect them.

In less than 30 years, in April of 1923, Pope Benedict XV declared her Blessed, and in 1925 Pius XI canonized her and named her feast day October 3. St. Pius X called St. Therese of the Child Jesus one of the greatest saints of modern times. In less than a century, she had become one of the most popular saints throughout the world.

Next Week is what?...

OMG!!! Next week is gonna be our Mastery Tests as well as our Second Quarterly Examination. And...... its already in the Third Quarter! And if we say third quarter, its gonna be our Play Festival!! Wohhhh!!. Well, I will first focus more on our Mastery Tests and in our Quarterly Examination. And I have accomplished my Master Tests and my Quarterly Exams, then, I will now focus on our CAE CAF PlayFest.

Today is Saturday..

Today is Saturay and I have fever. Yesterday, during our silence period in the afternoon, I'm already experiencing a fever and I'm in a cold condition that time. Until today, I have a high fever. Well, even though I have a high fever I still make it up to the point that I will create my blog because it's our job as Mr. Gerano sad so. I'm glad that my parents and my families cares for me today. This morning, my dad woke me up because we will go around the city to find some billboards, sign boards, and more that are in wrong grammar or in wrong spelling, but I wasn't able to wake up because my body is very tired and my mom told me not to go today because I have a Fever. By the way, this is for our project in Journalism.

The Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is a task, it never closes its doors, but it is a gift to discover and it is left open to everyone. It is the most important!!

My Talumpati: Kasalanan ng isa, Kasalanan ba ng lahat?

Mga Kababayan ko, nandito ako ngayon sa inyong harapan upang bigyang halaga ang pagiging Pilipino ko. Bago ko po sisimulan ang Talumpati, gusto ko po munang sabihin sa inyo na ipinagmamalaki ko ang pagiging Pilipino kahit na tayo ay may hinaharap na problema at yun ay ang pagmamalupit ngayon sa atin lalong-lalo na ng mga dayuhan dahil sa kontrobersyal na Hostage Taking sa Maynila noong Agosto 23.
Ang pagiging Pilipino ay isang dangal dahil marami tayong kababayan na hinahangaan ng lahat ng tao sa mundo. Kagaya na lamang nina: Charice, Manny Pacquiao, Arnel Pineda, at Lea Salonga. Sila ang ilan sa mga Pilipinong hinahangaan ng mga dayuhan. Pero.., bakit ngayon ay galit na galit sila sa atin? Dahil nga ba iyon sa kasalanan ng isang Pilipino, at nadamay lang tayo? Tayong mga Pilipino ay isang maunawaing tao. Isang halimbawa ng ating pagkaunawa sa mga nagkasala sa atin ay ang pag-lead poisoning at melamine contaminaton na ginawa ng mga Chinese atin. Per.., bakit nga ba hindi tayo na galit sa kanila ng sobrang sobra sa halos daan daang mga tao sa mundo ang namatay at pinahirapan nila at kaagad natin silang napatawad sa lalong madaling panahon? Pero.., sa kaso natin, ba't hindi nila tayo mapatawad sa na walo lang naman yung namatay?
Sabi nila noon, tayong mga Pilipino ay mapagmahal, masipag, matiyaga, maunawain at matulunging tao. Pero ngayon binawai nila sa atin yung ugaling iyon dahil sa nangyaring Hostage Taking sa Maynila. Patunayan natin sa kanila ngayon, na tayong mga Pilipino ay mapagmahal, masipag, matiyaga, at matulunging tao hanggang ngayon.
Mga kababayan ko, hindi pa huli ang lahat. May magagawa pa tayo upang maisalba ang tiwala sa atin ng mga dayuhan. Basta tatandaan lang natin na ang pagiging Pilipino ay isang biyaya ng Diyos sa atin dahil nilikha niya tayong lahat lalong- lalo na ang mga Pilipino dahil alam niya na marunong tayo magpatawad sa mga nagkasala sa atin ay mayoon tayong "Pusong Mamon".
Bago ko po tatapusin ang aking pagtatalumpati, iiwanan ko po kayo ng dalawang salawikain na nagsasabi: "Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay mahigit pa sa mabaho at malansanag isda." Pangalawa, "Ang taong di marunong magmahal sa sariling wika, lumaki sa ibang bansa."
Kaya, kayong lahat na nandito ngayon, hinahamon ko kayo, Pilipino ka ba talaga? Isigaw niyo sa buong mundo na totoong pilipino kayo. Huwag ipagkahiya ang pagiging Pilipino mo. Maging isang mabuting ehemplo sa kapwa. Mahalin at maging tapat sa ating bandila upang mapatunayan natin sa iba na kahit anong isyo ang ibabato sa ating mga Pilipino, hindi pa rin mawawala sa ating puso at isipan ang pgiging tunay na Pilipino.

The Life of St. Marie Eugenie

Anne Eugenie Milleret de Brou was born in Metz, France, on 26 August 1817. Her father was a banker. Her mother's example of a virtuous life marked her deeply. On Christmas Day 1829, she received her First Communion during which she experienced a "first call from God" In 1836, listening to Fr. Lacordaire at Notre Dame in Paris, she said, "I was truly converted". In 1837, she met Fr. Combalot at the dreamt of founding a congregation deedicated to Our Lady Of the Assumption. He chose Anne Eugenie to start it. She wanted an education for the young that would form their whole being in Christ. In 30 April 1839, two young women founded the first Assumption Community. "Our spirituality is our most precious possession.. Jesus Christ, the King of eternity, living in us and in His Church, the extension of His Kingdom in us and in the world, a great spirit of prayer, a certain liberty of spirit, a community spirit and a fraternal love, a style of education that flows from our contemplative life". The Religious of the Assumption are educators attentive to the needs of the times and of the Church. She was beatified in Rome on 9February 1975 by Pope Paul VI and canonized in Rome on 3 June 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.

Florante at Laura..(C.A.F)

Whose gonna be our Florante? Whose gonna be our Laura? This is the common questions that our classmates are asking almost everyday. Our classmate Yanny doesn't want to be our Florante because she said: "Indi ko subong type ah!". So, when we knew this we were all panicking because she is our only hope. She said she wanted to be in the character of Alladin. Well, we have decided that our Florante would be Celine and our Laura would maybe be Louise. This upcoming CAF playfest we wanted that we would win in this year's CAF play. If we really want to win then, we should work hand in hand so that we can reach our goal.

Boredom Hits!!..

Today its Saturday! I have nothing to do!.. Earlier this morning, My dad and I went to Mandurriao where you can locate the so called "Basurahan sa Mandurriao". I took a picture their because my partner and I decided to take a picture with that "basurahan" because its so interestng and we will post it in our Journalism Project.
OMG! I don't have nothing to do!! Well, I don't want to memorize now my Desiderata because I don't want too. I'm really really bored!!

Talumpati+Desiderata!!

First of all, TGIF!!. Well, it's hard to imagine that all second year learners are memorizing their Talumpati and at the same time their Desiderata! This two activities will happen already next week! Oh no! At last! I had already memorized my Talumpati, but for the Desiderata, I am now memorizing it and I'm confuse what to say because I need to focus on the English Languages but what's in my mind is my Talumpati and it is in Filipino Languages. Well.., this is for now I still need to print my other copy of the poem Desiderata.

PLAY FEST IS COMING!!!..

Well.., this is my second time around to witness a play presentation by other sections and year level. Now, that I'm in second year, our CAF play presentation is all about Florante at Laura. While, on our CAE play presentation, we haven't decided yet but we have many proposals that were presented to us this morning during our CAE class. I hope and pray that this upcoming play presentation, we would cooperate and would help each other in reaching our dreams to be the winner on both of our subjects namely, CAF and CAE.

SOCCER GAME!!..

This afternoon, we played soccer at our P.E. class. Actually it is so tiring and at the same time it was fun!!!! Tired because I'm the catcher at our group and you should be focus so that whenever your oponent would use the term "sacrifice" you should immediately catch the ball and throw it to the pitcher so that she can tag the person who is running for the next base. Funny because some of our groupmates are so crazy that they just keep on laughing while kicking the ball so that's why they can't always hit the ball. We were laughing because one example was that Jacque went on the first base and she wasn't able to control herself and she accidentally jump on Marion's body and they were'nt able to go-up immediately. After our game we were the loser and Ryahh's team won for the scores of 5 and 10.

FEVER!!!! during exams..

During our last day of exam, I' m not actually feeling well due to my high fever. Well.. I really want to finish all my subjects because I don't want that my grade in the Thrusday's schedule of exam will be low most especially my grade in science and journalism. So, I just pushed myself to go to school even though I have high fever because I said their are only two subjects left. After I got my exam, our class adviser announces that their would be a singing practice with Mrs.Ga so I started to complain because my parents are already waiting for me at the departure area because after I have took my exams I would immediately go to them because we will go to the doctor to have me checked. So, one of my classmate told me to go to the clinic because I look reddish and so I said okay, when we arrived at the clinic, the nurse immediately get my temperature and the result was 38.7 degree celcius. So, the nurse immediately told me to go home and she gave me a permission slip addressing my class adviser to let me go due to my high fever. And on the day itself their would be a concert..so, I just sigh because I cannot attend and have fun..

Lunar Eclipse

Last sunday, there was a Lunar Eclipse. During the Lunar Eclipse, My Family and I went out at our house and look up to the sky to watch and observe on what's happening on to the moon. We stayed for a long time outside to watch the Lunar Eclipse. My younger cousins was shouting and screaming to us asking: "Ate ate, anu na tabo sa moon?".We laughed at them because they were shocked,..they were shocked because it's their first time to watch a Lunar Eclipse.Actually it's my second time to experience watching a Lunar Eclipse,the first was during the month of August I think because that's the time when my tita gave birth to my cousin. The second was last Sunday. This picture was taken during the Lunar Eclipse, I took this picture by myself. Actually it's hard to take a picture of it because it was too far, so I zoomed by camera to the moon itself.

swimming at the beach!

Last saturday,we went to the beach at Tigbauan,Iloilo. It was really fun!.My cousins from Tigbauan was also there.we haven't seen for a long time.When we arrived at the beach(coco gove)we were the first one to arrive..the place was so quiet.Birds are singing and the trees are swaying because of the air that was so strong. As you can see in the picture,we have so much fun!

From morning until afternoon we are the only one who swims at the beach.Parang amin na yung dagat kasi walang ni isa ang nag siswimming. When we went home, I was so tired..I wasn't able to go to the mass on the following day because I'm so so tired...Hmm..I was crying because I forgot to put sunblock in my skin so...., what happened??.."Nag itom ako!".,:'(

Now,I'm searching my assignments regarding to my subject..SCIENCE!..
